Java Posse Roundup 2008

If you don’t know about the Java Posse podcast, then definitely check it out (javaposse.com, available on iTunes as well). And if you are a listener, then you may have heard some of the recorded sessions from Java Posse Roundup 2007. It was a lot of fun and very informative.

Registration for the Java Posse Roundup 08 is ongoing, but it maxes out at 70 participants. If you want to attend, definitely register soon. This is an Open Spaces conference, and so the topics discussed will be decided by the participants. Again this year, the conference will be held in Crested Butte, CO (hosted by Bruce Eckel) and there will be time in the schedule for skiing or other free time activities.

If you're looking to broaden your skill sets beyond Java, then contact Ron. Loud Feed is a digital asset content management system specialized for music labels. Our mission by going Open Source is to do for the music industry what Wordpress has done for publishing. We're using GitHub for source code management and the platform leverages Amazon Web Services for storage and bandwidth. We're currently seeking partnership and investment for new enhancements from angels, strategic partners and music distributors.
