CloudCamp is an unconference where early adapters of Cloud Computing technologies exchange ideas. With the rapid change occurring in the industry, we need a place we can meet to share our experiences, challenges and solutions. At CloudCamp, you are encouraged you to share your thoughts in several open discussions, as we strive for the advancement of Cloud Computing. End users, IT professionals and vendors are all encouraged to participate.
This event, held at Google Ann Arbor, is free, but you MUST REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME. Seats are limited.

Java connection? Rumor has it that a Google speaker will be talking (remotely) about Java support in the Google App Engine.

I attended the Cloud Camp. Here is my report(!):
1. Very informative and useful. Good opportunity for networking, especially with UoM associates.
2. Google (http://code.google.com/appengine/), Microsoft (http://microsoft.com/azure) and Hiperlogic (http://hiperlogic.com/) were the sponsors and they all talked about the Cloud Computing offering.
3.Unpanel (informal panel from the audience) answered about 10 questions surrounding Cloud Computing.
4. Steve Fentriss from Routinverse (http://routiniverse.com/) demonstrated a file editor using web browser and collaboration across the cloud.
5. Eli from Ann Arbor District Library (http://aadl.org) presented free computing resources available from AADL.
5.Informal breakout sessions covered topics on High Performance Computing, Data in Cloud Computing, Security, Culture/Society Change due to Cloud Computing, Google App Engine, Developing applications using Windows Azure, Amazon EC2 instance, etc.
