Job Title: Senior J2EE Designer/Developer

Job Description:

We have an opening for a J2EE Designer/Developer. The work involves development of enterprise applications and integration with external application modules using Java/J2EE technology and WebSphere platform.

SKILLS

JMS/MQ Series Must

Websphere Portal Server and Webspher Process Server

Job Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze use cases

- Estimate and plan implementation effort of use cases

- Write design diagrams and technical specifications, documentations

- Write high-quality java and unit test code

- Deliver code in time and with excellent quality

- Participate actively and contribute to design, development discussions

- Perform technical analysis to present pros and cons of various solutions to problems

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering.

- Excellent understanding of OOAD principles, practices and design patterns (GOF, J2EE, POSA etc.)

- Excellent understanding and experience in Java

- Deep understanding and experience in J2EE/JEE technologies including but not limited to JSP, Servlet, EJB 2.1/3.0, SOA, Web Services, JMS, and JDBC

- In-depth knowledge of SQL, Database systems and architecture (DB2 or Oracle)

- In-depth knowledge of Messaging systems (WebSphere MQ) and messaging paradigms

- Good experience and exposure to open-source frameworks such as JUnit, Spring, Struts and Hibernate

- At least 2 years of very recent experience in using WebSphere Application Server and related tools

- Good experience in full-lifecycle software development such as RUP, UP, XP or any other agile methodologies

- Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, DOJO, and any other RIA technologies a plus.

- Experience with WebShere Process Server a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
